Jamcracker Listed as a Representative Vendor in Gartner's Market Guide for Cloud Brokering Platforms for SaaS Aggregation

The Market Guide analysis provides a broad overview of available cloud brokering platforms

Jamcracker, Inc., a leading provider of Cloud Services Brokerage (CSB) enablement solutions, today announced that it has been identified as a representative vendor in the Gartner "Market Guide for Cloud Brokering Platforms for SaaS Aggregation" report by Gregor Petri, August 2016.

According to Gartner, "In 2016, the aggregation role continues to be the most common out of the three primary cloud service brokerage (CSB) roles (namely, aggregation, integration and customization)… The market direction of the solutions examined in this research has been to expand coverage along two paths. In addition to purely enabling intermediation of SaaS solutions on a commercial basis, brokerage solutions have now added:

  • Management and governance capabilities targeting end-user organizations
  • Brokerage for platform as a service (PaaS) and infrastructure as a service (IaaS) capacity and capabilities

As a result, the platforms are increasingly encountering (and to some extent competing) with solutions already active in these adjacent spaces."

"In today's cloud first era, aggregating and delivering cloud services of all flavors including SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, has become of paramount importance for IT organizations. Channel partners including the system integrators (such as SCC) and managed services providers (such as SITA, VADS) have a cardinal role to play in the enterprise IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS) transformation," said Ash Bhalgat, VP of Product Marketing at Jamcracker. "We are very proud to be listed as representative vendor for cloud services enablement market which we believe further bolsters our business strategy of being a unique player in the market offering a single platform for CSB, CMP and Cloud Expense/Cost Management. We feel being named by Gartner as a representative vendor reinforces our solution's value to our customers as we continue to expand our platform to include management and governance capabilities for public and private multi-cloud services to enable our customers and partners to consume and manage cloud services."
